New Northwest president introduced to community

The Northwest Missouri State University community got a chance to meet the next president of the University.

Dr. Lance Tatum, who was announced as the next president on March 1st, stopped by Maryville Thursday in conjunction with the Board of Regents’ March session.

During the half hour press conference, Doctor Tatum talked about the passion of the Bearcat community.

Dr. Tatum, joined by his wife, Jill, will begin his tenure at Northwest on June 1st. He and the University’s Board of Regents agreed to an initial three-year contract.
