Two out-of-state people injured in MO wreck

DEARBORN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two out-of-state people were seriously injured in a wreck over the weekend.

The Patrol says at 9:25 p.m. Sunday, 30-year-old Damon Blackburn of Clarksville, Tenn. fell asleep at the wheel of his 2011 Nissan Versa one mile north of Dearborn on I-29. The vehicle traveled off the side of the road and overturned.

Blackburn and his passenger, 28-year-old Lacy Woods of Forrest Grove, Ore., were both seriously injured and transported to Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
