CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation will be hosting a free family night this week.
The event, happening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Thursday at the Grand River Area YMCA in Chillicothe, will feature activities such as archery, nature exhibits like mammal pelts, and a chance to talk with MDC biologists and conservation agents.
Livingston County Conservation Agent Corporal Caleb Pryor and K-9 agent Waylon will be there to greet everyone. Most of the activities are aimed towards the youth, but media specialist with the MDC, Bill Graham, says they have opportunities for adults as well....
