FILLMORE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a nine-year-old suffered serious injuries in a crash in Buchanan County.
The Patrol says the child was riding an ATV on a private road in the Honey Creek Conservation area Monday evening. At 6:35 p.m., the A-T-V began to skid before driving off the road and overturning.
The child was ejected from the vehicle, suffering serious injuries. The child was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph before being transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
