MSHP: Iowans injured in MO wreck

BERLIN, Mo. - Four Eagle Grove, Iowans have been injured, including one seriously, in a Missouri wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Hemelindo Zecena, 22, was driving a 2004 Chevy Express van on Route Z, two miles east of Berlin in Gentry County.

At 9:30 a.m. Monday, the Patrol says the van travelled off the road, overcorrected and overturned on the road.

While Zecena and two other passengers suffered only minor injuries, a third passenger, Carlos Lopez, 40, was seriously injured. All men in the van were taken to Mosaic Albany. All were wearing their seatbelts.
