ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two Easton residents were seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Buchanan County.
The Patrol says it happened on U.S. Highway 36, five miles east of St. Joseph, around 7:50 p.m. Monday night.
Authorities say a 1995 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 26-year-old Bryson McDowell of Maysville, was speeding down the highway when it rear-ended a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.
McDowell suffered minor injuries in the collision, but Shannon Anderson, the driver of the Jeep, and Lee Anderson, a passenger in the Jeep, both 54-years-old, suffered serious injuries. The Andersons by taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
