MSHP: Woman seriously injured in single-vehicle wreck

emergency

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 27-year-old Forest City woman was seriously injured in a weekend wreck in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says Savannah Fox was driving a 1999 Ford F-350 on U.S. Highway 36, at SE 130th Road.

At 9 a.m. Sunday, the Ford traveled off the road, returned, overcorrected, and began to skid before going off the road again and overturning.

Fox, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the truck. She was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
