MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville city council got a much needed update on the South Main Corridor Improvement project.
At Monday night's meeting, the city council was told that several weather and utility delays have pushed back the completion date of the first phase of the project.
Work from South Avenue to Highway V was originally scheduled to wrap up at the end of this month.
City Manager Greg McDanel adds that crews are about 82% complete with phase one, and that city staff is currently preparing construction bids for phase two of the project.
