MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville Public Safety says a high schooler was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph after getting struck by a vehicle.
The incident happened a little before 8 a.m. Friday morning at the Maryville High School.
Authorities say a teen driving a Dodge Ram had his view obstructed by the rising sun when he struck another teen entering the high school driveway.
Police say the teen that was struck suffered substantial injuries that were non-life threatening. No other information has been released.
