Wayne Flanary, Field Specialist in Agronomy for the University of Missouri Extension office says that it is time to start planting cool-season grasses as well.
Flanary adds that the University of Missouri Extension can receive your soil samples to be sent to the soil test lab at the University of Missouri for determining nutrient levels to best plan which crops to seed, along with other recommendations to maintain productive forage stands.
