EQIP funding now available in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service is accepting applications for accelerated Environmental Quality Incentives Program funding to support nutrient management improvements on cropland and pastureland operations.

The funding, provided by the Inflation Reduction Act, aims to promote climate-smart agriculture and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Producers can receive technical and financial assistance for implementing nutrient management plans.

To receive financial assistance under this initiative, applicants must meet all USDA, NRCS, and EQIP eligibility requirements Applications are accepted until Aug. 1.
