Livingston County Library to chalk the block

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County Library wants you to help spread kindness this month.

Chalk the block is a community wide event where everyone comes together to chalk uplifting messages and art on the downtown sidewalks.

Youth Services Coordinator with the Library Jodi Moore adds the library will be providing sidewalk chalk as well as kindness messages for families and businesses who participate in the spread kindness event.

Chalk the block will take place from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 20 at Silver Moon Plaza in Chillicothe. In the event of inclement weather, the event will not be rescheduled.
