TRENTON, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering free fishing classes in Trenton next month. The classes will take place on June 7 and 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Central Missouri College's Barton Farm Campus.
The classes are open to participants ages six and older, and beginners and experienced anglers are welcome. The classes will cover fishing techniques, fish species, and hands-on fishing experience.
Upon completion of the course, each registered participant will receive a piece of fishing tackle to take home. Participants will receive fishing tackle and need a Missouri fishing permit.
