WASHINGTON - The Humane Society of the United States has put several states in our listening area on their horrible hundred report.
The report, which lists 100 problem puppy breeders and dealers in the country, found Missouri to have the highest number of dealers at 31.
This is the 11th year in a row Missouri has had the highest number in the nation. Missouri is followed by Iowa, with 13, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kansas, with six. Further down the list was Nebraska, which had 4.
The report noted two troubling dealers in Carrolton, Len Dee Kennels and Goedeke's Great Danes. The full report can be found at humanesociety.org/horriblehundred.
