8-unit kayak kiosk coming to Mozingo Lake

MARYVILLE, Mo. - While it won't be available this weekend, an exciting new vending machine is coming to Mozingo Lake.

The Maryville City Council approved a $13,800 agreement with HRI Vending to purchase an eight-unit kayak kiosk. It will have four standard kayaks, two tandem kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards.

City Manager Greg McDanel says the kiosk will be powered by solar panels.

It will be placed at the parking lot of the ADA boat ramp and is expected to arrive in late August and could be available to patrons this Fall. As for the cost of a rental, no pricing has been determined yet.
