ALBANY, Mo. - At it's latest meeting, the Albany Board of Aldermen brought forward and passed several big bills.
The most pressing of these bills will extend a grant held by the city from the Missouri Department of Transportation to replace airfield runway lights, safety lights, and air-traffic directing beacons within Albany.
Another bill closing that's bringing much relief to City Administrator Derek Brown is putting the final bow on the city's budget plan for the next fiscal year, which starts tomorrow.
The process of constructing the budget is meticulous, as it sets the pace for all future city business for the year.
