Albrecht-Kemper Museum opening female-centric exhibit

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Albrecht-Kemper Museum is opening a new exhibition titled "(Women) Artists from the Collection, 1800-2022."

Running from June 10 to September 17, 2023, the exhibition showcases diverse artwork by women artists, including renowned figures like Mary Cassatt and Janet Fish.

The museum, with its collection of nearly 20% women artists, exceeds the national average. An opening reception will take place on June 9 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

The museum's mission is to promote visual arts, and it is open Tuesday to Friday (10 AM to 4 PM) and Saturday to Sunday (1 PM to 4 PM). Admission fees range from $7 to $10.
