JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Gov. Mike Parson recently proclaimed June as Dairy Month in Missouri, recognizing the hard work of dairy farmers in the state.
First Lady Teresa Parson presented the proclamation at Swan Creek Holsteins, a multi-generation dairy farm. The Missouri dairy industry contributes over $2.2 billion to the state's economy and is home to 376 Grade A dairy farms.
Gov. Parson commended the dedication of dairy farmers who work tirelessly to care for their livestock and supply high-quality dairy products.
