GLENWOOD, Iowa - Good news for some Iowans who need a break from the heat. Glenwood's aquatic center is set to open next Monday after undergoing repairs that caused its closure last summer.
Various issues were addressed, including cracks in the supply line. The decision to set the opening date was made after testing the repairs and equipment.
The pool will operate from 1-8 p.m. daily until Monday, August 21, with adjusted hours afterwards. More information, as well a site to buy season passes, is available on the cityofglenwood.org.
