MARYVILLE, Mo. - At their latest meeting, the Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents approved next year's operating budgets and changed up the make-up of the board.
During yesterday's meeting, the Regents heard several key factors in the budget, such as a one percent increase in overall student credit hour enrollment, a 4% increase in tuition and fee revenues, and a 4% increase in state appropriations for core operations.
The overall increase in total expenses was 4.5%. After the budget presentation, the Regents unanimously approved it.
The Regents also voted in a new chair as Thursday was Regent John Moore's last meeting. The new chair of the board is Regent Roxanna Swaney.
