ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Changes are coming for a bus service in northwest Missouri.
Starting July 1, OATS Transit will no longer accept payments on their buses, according to their Northwest Region Office in St. Joseph.
Riders can now add funds to their account in advance and fares will be automatically deducted. To add funds, you can call 888-875-6287 or mail checks to OATS Transit.
According to a press release, this change ensures faster loading times, driver safety, and rider convenience. For more information, visit oats-transit-DOT-org for schedules and fare information. For ride scheduling, call 816-279-3131.
