ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Pony Express Museum day camp will be opening again next month.
The outdoors adventure camp is open for kids of all ages centering on getting kids invested and interested in the Pony Express, it's history, and what life was like for Americans in those times.
The three-day camp will give members hands-on experiences with everything from making soap to blacksmithing.
Executive Director Cindy Daffron says the camp will be held at the Museum event center from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day for three days, July 11-13 and July 17-19.
