Downtown Maryville receives grant from USDA

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Downtown area in Maryville has been awarded a Rural Business Development grant of nearly $51,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

This grant is a recognition of the hard work and dedication put in by the community, local businesses, and the Downtown Maryville board to foster economic growth and enhance the quality of life.

The USDA's Rural Business Development grant program aims to promote entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable economic development in rural areas nationwide.

With the funds, Downtown Maryville plans to implement initiatives benefiting local businesses, residents, and visitors, making the area even more vibrant and welcoming.

The grant will be directed towards various key focus areas, including small business support, community engagement and events, and staff and volunteer training and support.
