TRENTON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified an elderly woman who was killed in a weekend crash.
The Patrol says Twyila Whitney of Trenton, 77, was driving a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo on MO 6, one mile west of Trenton.
At 12:46 p.m. Sunday, the Chevy crashed into the back of a 2011 Ford F-250 that was stopped at a traffic light. Whitney, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later at Wright Memorial Hospital.
The drive of the Ford, James Havens of Trenton, 66, suffered moderate injuries.
