First STEAM camp starts today in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Mosaic Life Care is getting ready for its first STEAM Camp this summer.

STEAM is a series of camps for students 3rd-through-8th grade with a focus on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Participants will get hands-on with real projects led by trained faculty.

Program director Devran Brower says students will not only learn how to construct machines, but will also learn about the software to run machines students build is all part of the experience.

Program director Devran Brower says two camps will run, one from July 17 - Aug. 4 and the other concurrently from July 10-14.
