JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - With over 1,000 conservation and natural areas across Missouri, the Missouri Department of Conservation is making sure people who want to participate in certain activities can easily get a special use permit.

The MDC has introduced a new online application process, making it easier than ever to obtain a permit. Simply visit mdc.mo.gov/specialusepermit to access the user-friendly application form.

The permit is necessary for various activities, including furbearer trapping, drone use, commercial purposes, and ceremonies like weddings or baptisms.

By completing the online application, you'll receive a digital permit file that can be kept, printed, or accessed on your mobile devices.

Remember to submit your Special Use Permit application at least 30 days prior to your planned event or activity to ensure timely processing. Applications received later will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
