MOUND CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering a free prescribed burn workshop for landowners.
The workshop will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Nodaway Valley Conservation Area east of Mound City.
The workshop will provide knowledge on conducting safe prescribed burns, reducing unwanted vegetation, and enhancing wildlife habitat.
Participants must complete an online course before attending the in-person workshop. Instructors will cover planning, equipment, weather, and safety.
