STANBERRY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Gentry County over the holiday weekend.
The Patrol says 46-year-old Dustin Beaty was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler on U.S. Highway 136, one mile west of Stanberry. A 13-year-old boy and 43-year-old Angela Beaty were also in the vehicle.
At 3:15 P.M. Saturday, the Jeep traveled off the road, struck a field entrance, became airborne, and overturned multiple times.
A 13-year-old boy in the vehicle was taken to Mosaic Medical Center in Albany where he was pronounced dead an hour and a half later.
Dustin and Angela were taken to Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph with serious injuries. Everyone was from Bethany. All of them were wearing their seatbelts.
