TRENTON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager drown in Grundy County this week.
The Patrol says the 17-year-old boy from Jamesport drowned in the Thompson River, near Trenton, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday night.
The Patrol's water-rescue team was joined by Trenton police and the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department. Authorities say the teenager's body was recovered and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been released about this incident.
