JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has announced that online applications for over 100 managed deer hunts across the state are now open.
These hunts will take place from mid-September through mid-January at various conservation areas, parks, refuges, and public areas.
Some hunts are specifically designed for youth or individuals with disabilities. Hunters will be selected through a weighted random drawing.
The draw results will be available from Aug. 15 to Jan. 15, and successful applicants will receive hunt information and area maps by mail. To learn more about managed deer hunts and apply, visit mdc.mo.gov/managedhunt.
Additional details can be found in MDC's "2023 Fall Deer & Turkey Hunting Regulations and Information" booklet, available at MDC offices, nature centers, permit vendors, and online.
