MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville Public Library is hoping you bring some food with you next time you come to the library. That's because the library is now accepting donations for the Ministry Center Food Pantry.

According to a press release, the Ministry Center is currently in need of canned peas, canned peaches, cereal, laundry soap, bottled water, cake mix, crackers, and bar soap.

Donations can be left in the boxes in the library's North Lobby through the end of next month. This service project is being run by Leadership Maryville #36.

Leadership Maryville is a program designed to nurture and engage the leadership skills of potential and current leaders.

Leadership Maryville includes community immersion, leadership training, and educating participants on “how things work” in Maryville and Nodaway County.
