St. Joseph Health Dept offering child vaccinations Thursday

Vaccine

The city of Saint Joseph Health Department is making it easy for families to get their children vaccinated this week.

On Thursday, they will be hosting a walk-in immunization clinic at Community Action Partnership from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. No pre-registration is required. Children and youth between the ages of four and 18 are eligible for vaccines. If you can't make it to the clinic, the health department will be offering immunizations at their location the same day.

The department is working with community partners to ensure students have their required vaccinations before the new school year begins. Immunization records will be reviewed, and booster vaccines may be administered for children entering pre-school, kindergarten, 8th grade, and 12th grade.

The health department is also available at the Saint Joseph School District Enrollment Center on Wednesdays for the rest of this month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Remember to bring your child's vaccine record and insurance information if applicable.
