CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - A three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces during the Vietnam War is coming to the KXCV/KRNW listening area.
The Wall That Heals bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam and is stopping in Chillicothe, this Thursday through Sunday.
Committee chairman for the Wall That Heals Rick Liebendorfer encourages people to come and learn more about the monument and this moment in history.
He says it is a first class presentation, open 24 hours a day, and manned by trained volunteers working with the VVMF staff from Washington. For more information visit vvmf.org.KXCV-KRNW
