Trenton city council approves grant application process

TRENTON, Mo. - At this week's meeting, the Trenton City council selected a company to prepare an application for a grant application for the Transportation Alternative Program.

City Administrator Ron Urton says the council selected the Howe Engineering Company. The city is hoping the grant will help fund new sidewalks, even though most of the cost is already covered

Urton says the grant would first go to implementing a sidewalk near the elementary school and a business near the highway.
