DED distributes millions to MO for revitalization

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - In a major boost for northern Missouri, the Department of Economic Development has revealed its distribution of over $3.7 million in the second round of the Community Revitalization Grant Program.

Fueled by the American Rescue Plan Act, this initiative aims to reinforce communities of all sizes, promoting local priorities, economic revival, and future resilience.

Competitive grants were assigned to municipalities and non-profits, with projects spanning downtown renovation, historic district revival, and community facility enhancement.

Gov. Mike Parson emphasized the positive impact on lives and communities, while DED officials celebrated the creation of a more robust future for the state.
