DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. - Investigators have identified human remains that were found in Daviess County earlier this year.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the remains of 26-year-old Skylar Ware of Kansas City were originally found by a mushroom hunter on private property back on April 21.

The Patrol says the cause of Ware's death has been ruled a homicide. Ware was reported missing on May 10, 2020.

At the time of Ware's disappearance, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office believed that he was with someone named Chris in the Blue Springs area.

Anyone with information in this homicide or about Ware before he disappeared in is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
