The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a woman is in serious condition after a single vehicle wreck in Caldwell County.

The Patrol says Bailey Leduc, 25, and Kayla Ford, 24, both of New Castle, Ind., were in a 2023 Hyundai Tuscon. Leduc was the driver while Ford was a passenger.

Officials say at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Hyundai traveled off of U.S. Highway 36 near Cameron, striking a tree.

Lueduc suffered minor injuries while Ford suffered serious injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital in the Kansas City area. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
