MLC Foundation secures community revitalization grant

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Mosaic Life Care Foundation has secured a nearly $500,000 community revitalization grant, thanks to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

The nearly $485,000 in funding aims to enrich the Children's Discovery Center in downtown St. Joseph, fostering interactive learning experiences.

In a press release, President of Mosaic Life Care Foundation Julie Gaddie expressed gratitude for the state's dedication to the project's impact on the community.

Gov. Mike Parson highlighted the broader initiative, with over $3.7 million awarded for northern Missouri projects.

The Community Revitalization Grant Program is fueled by the American Rescue Plan Act, and continues to uplift communities and promote resilience.
