MU Extension Office to host several field days

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - University of Missouri researchers and extension specialists are gearing up to share their latest findings at field days across the state.

From August through October, events will take place at Extension and Education Centers administered by MU Extension and at Research, Extension, and Education Centers under the Missouri Agricultural Experiment Station.

There will be two in the KXCV/KRNW listening area. The first will be Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Graves-Chapple Center near Rock Port. There will be a field day and the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new building.

The next event in our listening area will be Thursday, Sept. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Farm, Field, and Family Day at Hundley-Whaley Center in Albany. Producers and their families and friends are invited, and a delicious steak dinner will be provided.
