ALBANY, Mo. - According to the American Heart Association rural health disparities are a concern because rural residents facing shorter lifespans and increased heart disease and stroke risks and Mosaic Medical Center in Albany is dedicated to reversing this trend.
The center's efforts to enhance stroke care and bridge rural health gaps have earned them the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze award.
Officials with the hospital and Mosaic are applauding the team's dedication to quality care. This recognition emphasizes rural hospitals' critical role in delivering prompt evidence-based care.
The award acknowledges Mosaic Medical Center in Albany's excellence in stroke care through various performance metrics.
