ALBANY, Mo. - According to the American Heart Association rural health disparities are a concern because rural residents facing shorter lifespans and increased heart disease and stroke risks and Mosaic Medical Center in Albany is dedicated to reversing this trend.

The center's efforts to enhance stroke care and bridge rural health gaps have earned them the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze award.
