ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Mosaic Life Care has confirmed a tragic incident that occurred during Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp in St. Joseph over the weekend.
Mosaic Life Care says Jessica Tangen of Riverside, passed away during Sunday morning's practice at Missouri Western State University.
Though Mosaic provided no further details, they expressed gratitude to their caregivers, the emergency department caregivers, Buchanan County EMS, and Missouri Western staff for their swift response.
Jessica's family shared that she was a lifelong Chiefs fan who loved cheering for the team. Mosaic asks everyone to lift up the grieving family with thoughts and prayers.
No additional information will be released, as stated in their official statement.
