TRENTON, Mo. - A new construction project took up most of the Trenton city council's time at their latest meeting. The city plans to build new hanger bays for their airport and replace and repair some of their sewer and water mains.
In an agreement with Howe Company LLC, Trenton will be using CCTV cameras to explore the sewer systems to determine potential candidates for new fiber glass linings that will help become more durable and longlasting.
City administirator Ron Urton says sewer mains that aren't viable will be repaired before being lined and two locations have already been deemed beyound repair and will be replaced with new ones.
