SHENANDOAH, Iowa - Local volunteers at the Shenandoah Food Pantry were recently honored in a special luncheon hosted by the Shenandoah Elks Lodge.
Over 100 volunteers attended last month's event, where they were recognized for their vital contributions. The Elks Lodge presented the volunteers with a $6,000 check, made possible by a grant from the Elks National Foundation.
The Elks Lodge highlighted the strong community support behind these efforts. Despite the unfortunate need for a food pantry in the area, the Elks Lodge expressed gratitude for the effective operation of the pantry and its dedicated volunteers.
The Elks Lodge remains committed to various charitable initiatives, demonstrating their continuous dedication to helping the community.
