ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Struggling St. Joseph adults who can't afford insurance have taken a small hit, as the St. Joseph Health Department reports low stock and a shortage of vaccines acquired through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
The immunization clinic recently reported that they were out of the measles, mumps, rubella vaccine.
Public Information Officer for the Health Department Stephanie Malita recommends visiting or calling the health department at 816-271-47-25 to check vaccine availability.
You can also call other immunization clinics for their availability or wait for vaccines to be restocked. Malita also emphasizes that they do have all vaccines in stock for insured adults and children.
