ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - As the school year approaches many families are in need of shoes for their children.
The Soles 4 Christ program in St. Joseph enables any child in Pre-K through 12th grade, in Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, Dekalb and Doniphan counties, to recieve a new pair of tennis shoes to wear their first day of school, but they've been hurting for donations this year.
Executive director of Soles for Christ Nichi Seckingger says the 2023 distribution will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday at the Scottish Rite Temple in St. Joseph from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.
Donations can be dropped off at the agency any time of the year. If you would like to make a shoe or monetary donation, please contact the agency at 816-364-1131
