St. Joseph teen dies in house explosion

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - A St. Joseph teenager is dead after a house explosion in the city.

According to a police report, investigators discovered the body of 18-year-old Nathen Scott Taylor Jr. in the remains of a house located in the 1400 block of North 13th Street.

Police say the explosion happened shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday night. No one else was injured in the blast. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is investigating the explosion.
