Urban Agriculture Cost-Share Grant Program announced

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced the Urban Agriculture Cost-Share Grant Program.

The program will provide grants of up to $10,000 dollars to support urban agriculture and economic development projects.

The grants aim to introduce new crops, expand agricultural product use, and add value to agricultural products in designated urbanized areas.

Priority will be given to projects with economic benefits and potential for sustainable revenue generation and job creation.

Projects must reside in areas which have been designated as an urbanized area by the 2020 United States Census Bureau.

Applications must be submitted by Sept. 15. For more details and to apply, visit online at agriculture.mo.gov.
