NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - A tradition spanning over half a century, returns for two weekends, starting tomorrow.
The Nebraska City AppleJack Festival starts tomorrow, lasting through Sunday, and then returning for a second weekend, from Sept. 23 to the 24. The weekends boast a vibrant lineup of events.
This weekend includes a flea market, craft and vendor shows, a lively parade on Saturday at 1 p.m., a fun run, pancake feed, car show, quilt show, carnival, and water barrel fights.
For thrill-seekers, the Extreme Bull Riding Tour takes place tomorrow and Saturday at 7 p.m. The River City Classics Car Show runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Visitors can also explore the various orchards and museums in Nebraska City throughout both weekends. The second weekend spotlights "All About Apples," focusing on delectable festival cuisine.
