ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Missouri law enforcement officials are encouraging drivers to buckle up, put the phones down, and drive sober this holiday weekend.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Shane Hux is expecting a big increase in traffic, which means you should be patient when you hit the road.
Last year, seven people died and 398 people were injured on Missouri roads over the Labor Day weekend. Troopers add that they also ended up arresting 121 people for driving drunk.
