Hy-Vee beginning to offer flu shots this year

DES MOINES, Iowa - An area grocery chain says the flu vaccine is now available inside its more than 275 pharmacy locations.

Hy-vee pharmacies are trying to make it easy for patients to receive their flu shot with convenient hours and no appointment needed.

Hy-Vee Communications Manager Nola Aigner Davis says flu vaccines are available to patients six months or older at Hy-Vees in Iowa and Nebraska; or three years and older in Kansas and Missouri.
